Rue Boogaloo's members have spent their lives playing behind a real who's who of Louisiana's greatest Blues musicians.  Marty Christian, Lee Zeno, Frank Kincel and Andy Cornett have finally come together to create a sound of their own with an all original CD that draws on a wide variety of influences in the Blues genre with sounds ranging from the early electric Blues of musicians like Jimmy Reed, Freddie King and Johnny "Guitar"Watson to the funky Louisiana grooves and  songwriting styles of the Meters and Doctor John.  CD's and Mp3's will be available on ITunes and CDBaby.com.

Marty Christian is the vocalist/guitarist for Rue Boogaloo and is also currently the guitarist with legendary Blues pianist, Henry Gray and the Cats.  Marty has also performed with Thomas "Big Hat" Fields and his Footstompin' Zydeco Band, Carol Fran and has released two CDs of his original material.

Lee Zeno plays bass in the band and has played with almost everyone that's great in Blues, R&B, Zydeco and more.  A short list includes: Solomon Burke, Snooks Eaglin, Buckwheat Zydeco, Lil' Buck Sinegal, Fats Domino, Henry Gray and many more.  Now Zeno adds his incredible, original funky stylings and songwriting to the Boogaloo crew.

Andy Cornett is the longtime Bassist, manager and currently the Harmonica player for Henry Gray and the Cats.  Andy has played with a long list of Louisiana Blues luminaries including Harry Hypolite and Lil Buck Sinegal as well and has a unique blues harp sound that combines elements of Sonny Boy Williamson, Jimmy Reed and something that's all his own!

Frank Kincel has a style of drumming that stretches from Jazz to Blues to Rock to a Louisiana blend that makes the pure Boogaloo beat!! Frank has performed and recorded with the Bluerunners, Henry Gray and the Cats and Direwood. Currently, Frank also currently performs with his Jazz ensemble, the Modern Jazz Movement and Miss Emily and the Collard Greens.
